Processor and Controller Data
ImmiTranslate presently collects and processes two distinct types of data that can contain Personal Information.
- Data that users of our Services (“Customers”) ask us to translate or otherwise process for them (“Processor Data”). When ImmiTranslate processes Personal Information on behalf of a Customer, ImmiTranslate is the “processor” of the data under applicable law, and the Customer is the “controller.”
- Data, including Personal Information, which we process for ImmiTranslate’s business (“Controller Data”), other than for our recruiting operations. This includes, for example, the information we collect through the Site and the names and contact information of our Customers and vendors. Under applicable law, ImmiTranslate is the “controller” of this data.
Use and Disclosure of Personal Information Contained in Processor Data
We receive Processor Data from or on behalf of our Customers. Because of the nature of the Services, this Processor Data may contain any type of Personal Information.
We will process Personal Information contained in Processor Data only (1) with your consent; (2) to perform a contract between you and us; (3) to comply with a legal obligation; or (4) where we have a legitimate interest to do so, balancing this interest against your interests and fundamental rights. Collectively, we will refer to these legitimate interests in processing your Personal Information as “Business Purposes.”
ImmiTranslate and our service providers use Personal Information from our Processor Data for various such Business Purposes, which include:

These functions include hosting our website, data analysis, information technology support, customer service, email delivery, translating, compliance, auditing, and other functions related to providing, improving, and expanding the Services.
- To comply with laws and regulations that apply to us. We serve an international audience, and may use your Personal Information to comply with laws that are not the laws of your country of residence.
- To cooperate with government authorities and law enforcement. We may disclose your Personal Information if we are issued a subpoena, warrant, court order, or other request for information that we believe is important. These government authorities and law enforcement agents or bodies may not be those of your country of residence.

We may disclose your Personal Information to—for example—a business entity that acquires, buys, merges with, or seizes ImmiTranslate or any of its assets.
ImmiTranslate will make reasonable efforts to notify you before disclosing your Personal Information contained in Processor Data to government authorities, to law enforcement, or in response to a subpoena or similar demand.

When you voluntarily disclose Personal Information in reviews, ratings, testimonials, and other public comments on our Site, Reviews.io, TrustPilot, and our social media pages, that information is available to the public. Please note that any information you provide through any of these means may be impossible to fully delete or retrieve.
- To comply with laws and regulations that apply to us. We serve an international audience, and may use your Personal Information to comply with laws that are not the laws of your country of residence.
- To cooperate with government authorities and law enforcement.
