What is the difference between a certified translation and a standard translation?
A certified translation is a word-for-word translation, which includes a certification statement indicating that it is an accurate and complete translation. Certified translations are not subject to interpretive alterations, and must be a true translation from the source document.

A standard translation (formerly called a business translation) is a professional translation that can be interpretive. It typically consists of marketing materials, contracts, or other literature.
I'm not sure which service I need, can you help?'
Yes! Our support team can assist by providing insight into which service(s) you require. We are available to contact via chat (click the bubble in the bottom right-hand corner) or via email ([email protected])
I'm not sure how many pages/words I have, can you help?
Yes! We can provide a free quote. Our team will review your document(s) and prepare a price based on the content of the documents. We also include an estimated turnaround time with each quote.
I'm not sure if the document I have is legible, can you help?
Yes! Older documents, documents that have low quality scans, or documents with difficult to read handwriting can still be translated. Our team can clarify the level to which we can translate the document if you obtain a quote.
Can I use a standard translation if I need a certified translation?
If you need a certified translation, you must order a certified translation. We can, however, provide a digital copy of the text of a certified translation without the accompanying certification.
Can I submit a scanned PDF for standard translation?
Typically, no. In order for us to provide a standard translation, we must have a digital version of the document. We can translate scanned PDFs, but they will be billed per-page under the certified translation service.
How long does it take to receive a quote?
We aim to respond to all quotes within 15 minutes or less. In some instances, we may require more information, and will reach out via e-mail if we have additional questions.
